Checking in at the airport is quick and easy

Check-in is conveniently located just to the right of the main entrance to the terminal building. Checked luggage is handed over to check-in personnel.

We recommend that you arrive at the check-in at least one hour before your flight is scheduled to take off in order to avoid queues at check-in.

When traveling with Ryanair you must do online check-in at least two hours before scheduled flight departure time on www.ryanair.com

Before arriving at the check-in, you can check the size of your hand luggage in the luggage gauge next to the main entrance to the terminal building. Check the exact measurements on the airline website.

If you, or someone you are travelling with, have reduced mobility, please make sure you mention this when checking in. We can then provide any required assistance with boarding and security control.

At check-in, we also deal with any large items of luggage such as sports equipment, musical instruments and pets. You should check the airline website for information regarding these items, as instructions are airline-specific.

Smooth security control

Security control is performed on all passengers and their hand luggage immediately after check-in and before going to the departure gate.

  • Place all hand luggage, outdoor wear and your belt on the X-ray conveyor belt in a plastic box provided at security control. Please make sure that all loose items such as phones, wallets and keys are in a closed bag or in a plastic tray so that they cannot get lost. Left in your pockets, they may cause unnecessary alerts.
  • Laptops, tablets, cameras and other large electrical devices must be removed from their cases and placed in a plastic box.
  • Also place all medications, liquids and baby food in a box on the conveyor belt.

After this, present your ticket to the security officer and walk through the metal detector gate.

It is important to remember when packing at home that all liquids must be placed in a clear, resealable plastic bag with a maximum volume of one (1) litre. The maximum size of each container is 100 ml.  A good rule of thumb is that if you can spread it with a knife, it's liquid and subject to the restrictions. Read the detailed packing instructions and restrictions on carrying liquids, along with instructions on the Trafi website.

More detailed security control instructions are available on the Trafi website.

Have a good journey!
